Mission Statement

NutraSourceDI is dedicated to the preparation of entry-level registered dietitian nutritionists by cultivating a culture of learning, growth, and excellence nationwide. We are committed to equipping our graduates to successfully obtain their Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential to positively impact all those they serve in a caring and compassionate manner.



Program Goal 1

To prepare graduates for entry-level registered dietitian nutritionist positions in a variety of settings to become competent, caring dietetic professionals.

Objectives for Goal 1

1.1
At least 80% of program interns complete the program requirements within 14 months (150% of the program length).
1.2
85% of program graduates will take the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists within 12 months of program completion.
1.3
The program’s one-year pass rate (graduates who pass the registration exam within one year of first attempt) on the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists is at least 80%.
1.4
70% of employers will rate program graduates as meeting or exceeding expectations when asked how graduates positively impacted those they serve in their positions after 12 months of program completion.
1.5
70% of employers surveyed will rate program graduates as competent dietetic professionals as meeting or exceeding expectations in their position after 12 months of program completion.

Program Goal 2

To prepare graduates for a life-long pursuit of cultivating a culture of excellence and professional growth in their careers in order to positively impact all those they serve.

Objectives for Goal 2

2.1
Of graduates who seek employment, 80% are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of graduation.
2.2
80% of employers of program graduates will have a satisfactory response (meeting or exceeding expectations) when asked how prepared graduates were for entry-level practice after 12 months of program completion.
2.3
70% of program graduates will respond “yes” when asked if they are involved in professional organizations within 12 months of program completion.
2.4
70% of employers will rate program graduates as having a positive impact on those they serve as meeting or exceeding expectations in their positions after 12 months of program completion.
